Well, it has been two months since I last updated this blog. Since that time, Mom Fisher passed away, Cynthia Graduated from BYU, Dad Fisher received his bachelor's of arts degree from U of U, and we had Memorial day week-end which we celebrated by visiting the Veteran's Cemetery here in Boise. Mom Fisher is buried there so we took some pictures. We also participated in the commemorative ceremonies that were held there.I love to take pictures of flowers so I took three pictures of flowers in my yard. They were so pretty and the sun was just right.
On this one, you can see my shadow in the shot. Oops. I did not want to retake it though because it was so pretty already.
This is a picture of new leaves from our tree in front. They are so pretty and I just could not resist.

After the ceremonies on Memorial Day, we went to lunch and that is where I saw this rose. It was so beautiful.
Irene and Dennis were here with us last week-end. They were on their way to Pullman, Washington, for six weeks so Irene can get started on her dissertation. She has a mentor who is going to help her. It was nice to have them here. They were here when Tonie came home on Friday night. It was good to see Tonie, as always. We love seeing out kids. Robbie spent time over here for the week-end and we had Father's day. Robb got a outdoor fire pit for the backyard. WE lit a fire and loved the ambiance it created. Robb also go more clothes for work and a cover for his grill. It was really a nice and relaxed day for us. We did miss Cynthia and Kyle but understand that they probably could not get off work and probably wanted to save their money for family reunion in mid-July.
This morning, Robb and I awoke early for a Saturday morning. We got up so we could make my annual drive to Pine Top, the church owned camp where the eleven year old scouts meet for camp every year. As part of their program, I do a presentation on Navajo history. They love it and I enjoy doing it. Well, we were on our way and got to Pine Top in good time but none of the cars parked there looked familiar. We went to the lodge and found out that there were a group of boys at the Heleman's camp from Meridian stake. Oops. We called Sherri Fuhriman, who asked me to do the presentation this year, and found out that the camp is next week-end. I guess Robb and I will make the trip again next week-end. Oh well, all was not lost. Robb and I picked up three rocks for my rock garden. They are sparkly and add color to the rock garden. I hope we do this again next week-end.
Well, Robb has lunch ready for me. I better go. bye.
